I've been a personal trainer since 2001 and have always had big aspirations to help others get in AMAZING shape.
BUT, it didn't work out that way at first...
It took me years of research and experimentation to develop the BEST programs for burning fat and getting fit. Now I feel that it's my duty to share everything I've learned so that YOU can get great results right away!

What's My Story?
I've always been a bit of a health nut, so it was no surprise that I became a personal trainer and a weight-loss coach. I've been able to help a lot of people over the years and was fortunate enough to be chosen as "Canada's Top Fitness Professional" in 2013. That was pretty exciting!
Here's a quick interview I did after winning the award:
I enjoy playing all kinds of sports, but right now spend most of my time training for triathlons and doing yoga (that's my sister's cat, Bailey, getting in the way of an attempted down-dog!)

My Fitness Philosophy
I'm a believer in the power of habit-building. There are lots of ways to lose weight quickly, but most of them don't last very long if there aren't habits serving as the backbone for change.
I spend much time writing and guest speaking about which habits are worth investing in and how to make those habits stick. You check out some of my work in the Huffington Post, in Mind Body Green, on Greatist.com, and here on my blog. You can also watch a few clips below.
